The hall was created from the conversion of a former mechanical workshop.
The renovation was divided into two phases, the first involving the recovery and valorisation of the characteristic elements of the old intended use such as the reinforced concrete structure, the second involving the insertion of elements useful for the new intended use through fixed structures and custom-designed furnishings.
The "Root" is the main one of these structures, made of Corian, it is an 18 m long sequence of never-the-same storage volumes and work surfaces, in order to diversify each workstation.
A sculptural structure when in the "on hold" phase, and a wall laboratory when working on it.
The technical and washing areas are adjacent and developed as if a kitchen, the part that usually houses the sink and stove in this case houses the washing facilities, while the column that usually houses the refrigerator and oven and food storage in a kitchen, in this case it is a large mirror in a revisited nineteenth-century style and is a space for storing beauty products.
Design furniture created for homes and not for the specific place were inserted, precisely to give the environment an identity that was not "in series" but rather in a "limited collection".
Bringing the concept of home into a commercial activity for a style-conscious public, such as the female one.
